The truck is fixed. Our pockets have a little more room in them thanks to the truck and I have't packed a thing

This is the story of my life it seems. Whatever is going to happen will happen at the last minute and it's hardly EVER for the better but somehow we always manage to get where we're going and have fun doing so.

Of course, it IS Thursday and I still don't have the key to the beach house I'm a little nervous in this department since Friday is the last chance at getting the key (we leave early Saturday morning). I really don't want to go to jail for breaking and entering into a place I've paid dearly to stay for the week but at this point, jail even seems like it would be a vacation

My picky ass daughter (the youngest) can't find shorts that she likes, fits, etc. Same crap as with the graduation clothes. She's only been trying to find shorts since the beginning of the season with no such luck I guess wearing jeans to the beach is one way of not getting sunburned

Mama has taken it upon herself to buy a car for OUR family. Yes, I'm a little annoyed. Grateful, but annoyed. Apparently she came across a decent used car for a good price and she said it was "just too good to pass up". Ok...got it. I understand and don't blame her. BUT......it still annoys the hell out of me. Not only did she buy the car........she REFUSES to let me pay her back for it and she INSISTS that I go to DMV TOMORROW......not when I get back from vacation........but TOMORROW to get the title and tags changed over (like I don't have enough shit to do tomorrow)....and where the hell is the car gonna go for a week anyway? A joy ride on its own? .........AND......... she was all upset when I mentioned carrying only liability on it because my insurance is screaming right now

Here's a thought!!!!! SHE can keep the car, put it in HER name, HER insurance and let ME drive it

How can you give someone a car and turn around and tell them what to do with it????????????????
